At least 1 year of IBM i / AS400 experience, RPG language
Strong SQL skills
You document what you do
You love to think first what you will do
Create comments in code – not too much not too little
You enjoy understanding specification
You do test what you write – we have testers, no worries, but at least on a basic level
You love software development as such

90% flexible worktime: the only fixed time in the day is 4pm CET (GMT+1) daily standup
100% work from home – we have a nice office in Budapest, Hungary – if you want you are welcome at any time but it is not a must
Really challenging projects, ability to learn about a sub-segment of the financial sector
Not one big project with body-shopping but multiple, medium-sized (each project is for a few months) projects
So you will not get bored
You can work on multiple projects at the same time

You will develop new software functions (about 70% of the time) or maintain, change existing one (30% of time)
Work on systems with high availability needs in an environment where quality does matter
You do not have to talk to end users, unless you want to – you will receive written, clear specification – but you can and must ask questions is something is unclear
We love to create products users love – every screen does matter, and every line of code does matter as well
